Welcome to Coastal Kayak Angler! It's no secret that the sport of Kayak Fishing is one of the fastest growing segments in the outdoor fishing market. Kayak Manufacturers have been selling boats faster than they can produce them.

Coastal Kayak Angler was organized in 2004 and officially launched on the internet in March of 2005. Since that time, CKA's growth is quickly approaching 1000 web members. CKA was created by Phil Perry, a converted freshwater angler from Houston, Texas.

As CKA's growth continued, it was obvious it would require much more effort than one person could handle. In January 2006, CKA defined a Board of Advisors to share ideas and responsibilities regarding the future direction of CKA. In addition to the advisors' leadership, they also provide oversight to ensure the organization is being operated in a way that is morally correct, financially responsible, and in line with the long-term goals of providing a service to benefit the kayak fishing community as a whole.

Through the ideas and innovation of the advisors board, Coastal Kayak Angler has a history of leadership through innovation. From kayak fishing chatrooms, podcasts/internet radio, to live event video - Coastal Kayak Angler continues to provide progressive services to all kayak fishermen.
